Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Apple Bee SRL for using Tour & Tee. Please read the sections on participation fees and subscriptions in particular — they describe how money works in the app.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Tour & Tee you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Who we are
Tour & Tee is operated by Apple Bee SRL, a software company based in the Republic of Moldova. Contact: applebeesrl@gmail.com.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the organiser features on behalf of a club, society or other organisation, you confirm you are authorised to act for it.
4. Your account
You need an account to use the app. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date — in particular a working email address, because that is how account recovery and important notices reach you. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account, and you should tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
5. What Tour & Tee is
Tour & Tee is a golf organisation, participation and service-management platform. It helps golfers arrange rounds, record scores, run challenges and events, manage a golf organisation's members and contacts, and — where an organisation chooses to charge one — collect a participation fee.
Tour & Tee is not a gambling service. It does not offer betting, wagering, staking, prize pools, odds or games of chance, and it does not pay winnings. Section 8 explains exactly how participation fees work, and why they are none of those things.
6. Rounds, challenges and events
You can create a round, invite other players by their exact username, record hole-by-hole scores, assign a marker, sign and submit a scorecard, and see the resulting standings. Challenges are optional objectives attached to a round. Organisations can run events.
Scores, results and standings are the product of what you and other participants enter. We provide the tool; we do not adjudicate golf, verify handicaps, or referee disputes about play. Results have no monetary consequence in the app (see section 8).
7. Organisations and organiser authority
An organisation is created and administered by its members according to the roles they hold. An organiser can set up events, manage contacts, set participation fees where the feature is available, record cash received, and issue refunds through the flows the app provides.
If you act as an organiser you are responsible for what you do with other people's information, for the accuracy of the fees you set, and for honouring the arrangements you offer your participants. Apple Bee provides the software; the arrangement over a fee is between the organisation and its participants.
8. Participation fees — and why they are not wagers
Where the product supports it, an organising entity may set a participation fee (also called an entry fee) for a round, event or challenge. When you accept an invitation to something that carries a locked fee, a payment obligation is created: an amount you owe to the organising entity.
To be unambiguous about the model:
- the payer is the participant; the recipient is the organising entity — never another player;
- the amount is fixed by the organiser before play and is agreed when you accept;
- it is not loser-pays — the result of a round does not decide who pays;
- it is not a stake, wager or bet, and it creates no odds;
- there is no pooled prize, and no participant receives money for winning;
- a result never creates, increases or transfers a payment obligation.
Winning a round in Tour & Tee affects standings and nothing else.
9. Paying a participation fee
Depending on what the organiser has enabled, a fee may be payable by card or recorded as cash by the organiser.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe through its own payment sheet — Apple Bee does not receive or store them. Where an organisation collects by card it connects its own Stripe account, and the funds go to that account. Apple Bee is not the recipient of participation fees and does not hold them.
Where an organiser records a cash payment, that is a record in the app of a payment made outside it. The app reflects what the organiser records.
Amounts are shown with their currency at the point you accept them. Different organisations may use different currencies.
10. Refunds, cancellations and disputes
Participation fees are arranged between you and the organising entity, and refunds follow the flow the app implements: an organiser can refund a card payment through Stripe, or record a cash refund, and can waive an amount owed. If a round or challenge is cancelled, the app stops further collection on the associated fees and the organiser resolves anything already paid.
Because the organising entity receives the money, questions about whether a refund is due are between you and that organisation in the first instance. If a payment went wrong technically, contact us and we will help. Card disputes may also be raised with your card issuer.
11. Tour & Tee Premium
Tour & Tee Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks additional features.
- Premium is sold as an in-app purchase through the applicable app store, not by Apple Bee directly.
- Billing, renewal and payment method are handled by the store under your account with it. We never see your payment method.
- Subscriptions renew automatically in line with the store's terms until you cancel.
- You manage and cancel a subscription in your store account settings — on iOS, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the Tour & Tee app does not cancel a subscription.
- Restore Purchases in the app restores entitlements already associated with your store account.
- The price, billing period, and any free trial or introductory offer and your eligibility for it, are those presented by the store and the app at the moment of purchase, and those govern the transaction. We do not restate prices here, because the store is the authority on them.
- Refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its policies, not by us.
12. Professional golf statistics
Some screens show professional tour player and event information from an external sports data provider. It is supplied for general interest, may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and must not be relied on for any decision that matters. We do not control that provider and do not guarantee its accuracy or availability.
13. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app unlawfully, or to organise anything unlawful;
- use it for gambling, betting or any staking arrangement;
- enter false scores or impersonate another person;
- upload or send abusive, harassing or unlawful content;
- use another person's account, or share yours;
- add contacts to an organisation without a proper basis to hold their information;
- attempt to breach, probe or overload the service, or to access data that is not yours;
- scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the service or the data in it.
14. Content you enter
You keep whatever rights you have in the information you enter — scores, round details, profile details, contact records and similar. You grant us the permission needed to store and process it in order to run the service for you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to enter information about other people.
15. Our intellectual property
Tour & Tee, its software, design and branding belong to Apple Bee SRL or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of that to you. You may use the app only as these Terms allow.
16. Third-party services
The app relies on services we do not control — the app store, Stripe, our hosting and notification providers, and the sports data provider. Their terms apply to their part of what happens, and their availability is not something we can guarantee.
17. Availability
We aim to keep Tour & Tee available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that is being used unlawfully, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why.
19. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Account management → Delete account. Deletion is permanent. Some records — financial records and the security audit trail — are kept in de-identified form, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you own an organisation you must transfer or close it first.
Deleting your account does not cancel an app store subscription; cancel that in your store account.
20. Disclaimers
Tour & Tee is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that scores or statistics are accurate, or that it will meet your requirements.
Golf is a physical activity you undertake at your own risk. Tour & Tee organises information about it; it does not supervise play, courses or safety.
21. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Apple Bee SRL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, goodwill or data, arising from your use of Tour & Tee.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Participation fees are arranged between participants and organising entities. Apple Bee is not a party to that arrangement and is not liable for an organisation's failure to deliver an event or to make a refund it owes.
22. Changes to the service and these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and where a change is significant we will give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use Tour & Tee after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, unless a separate signed agreement between you and Apple Bee states otherwise. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection right you have under the law of the country where you live.
